BLS Introduces BLS Poly Bolt-On® Tufpads® HightopTM Track Pads
BLS Enterprises, Inc's most recent product development is another great improvement to the BLS Poly Bolt-On® TUFPADS® track pads, specifically designed for asphalt milling machines. The new BLS Poly Bolt-On® TUFPADS® HIGHTOPTM track pads, available in the 14 or 16 inch (355 or 406mm) polyurethane bolt-on track pad, provides users with over an inch and a quarter (32mm) of wearable material. This is a 50% increase over the original BLS Poly Bolt-On® TUFPADS® track pads and can save contractors a great deal of money by increasing the life of the track pad.
Both BLS Poly Bolt-On® TUFPADS® HIGHTOPTM track pads are also available as TUFPADS® BLUESTM track pads with the new extreme blue polyurethane, which has proven to last 15 to 30% longer than the original black polyurethane.
BLS was the first company to provide a polyurethane pad that bolts onto a steel triple grouser shoe, now used on all new Roadtec asphalt milling machines and were seen on the new Volvo milling machine at the 2009 World of Asphalt. The BLS Poly Bolt-On® TUFPADS® track pads save contractors 35 to 40% in replacement parts costs since the steel grousers can be reused and save 50% in replacement labor costs due to the ease of installation and removal.
New Tufpads® BluesTM Track Pads Outperform Even Premium Polyurethane Track Pads
After extensive field testing, BLS Enterprises, Inc. began selling TUFPADS® BLUESTM track pads in October of 2006. These new track pads were developed for contractors that had especially rough applications to help reduce how often they would have to replace their track pads. TUFPADS® BLUESTM track pads have been proven to outlast even premium polyurethane by 15-30%. This greatly reduces the cost of replacement parts, and also reduces the cost of replacement labor.
